Conveyor System ; potting, spacing and delivery simultaneously.
BARREVELD was looking for a conveyor belt system with which the various activities, such as potting, spacing and delivery, can be processed simultaneously. Martin Stolze has made this possible with a network of main conveyors and (walkable) fixed conveyors with flexible control.
An extra function has been added for delivery. The conveyors can be used as stock conveyors. Per section conveyors are filled with deliverable plants. The control indicates which type plants are placed on which conveyor. This way, entered in the central control panel, the correct number of plants in the correct order can be directed from each main conveyor to the operating space.
The controls are so ingenious that the different orders connect directly to the main belt one after the other, for maximum capacity. In combination with an automatic sticker application, the plants are packed and delivered quickly and without any problems.
