Many growers in the Netherlands are now seeing a major drop in demand for their products as a result of the corona crisis, but production continues as usual. Martin Stolze offers a solution to work more efficiently with fewer workers without investing a lot.
Now that many growers are in trouble, it is especially important for these companies to work as efficiently as possible. Unfortunately, for many it is now not possible to invest in the purchase of these improvements. Martin Stolze: “The goal of Martin Stolze is to take work off your hands, especially in these difficult times by automating internal transport. That is why it is also possible with us to rent products, from conveyor belts to potting machines, at short notice and for a certain period of time. Everything is of course delivered according to the guidelines of the RIVM. In this way Martin Stolze hopes to help many companies to save costs and get through this difficult time as well as possible.
More demand for renting conveyor belts
Bram van Paassen, sales manager at Martin Stolze: “We notice that there is more demand for renting our products. Where growers normally invest for the high season, we are now seeing a shift from purchase to rental. Conveyor belts are also rented to transport plants to the waste container. This is of course terrible news, but necessary work in which we can also support.”
Flower Boost Challenge
Martin Stolze also calls on everyone to participate in the Flower Boost Challenge. This is a great initiative to encourage many growers in floriculture. Martin Stolze himself also participated of course. Every little bit helps. We have to be there for each other as much as possible now.
